The base recipe is for my chocolate chip cookies and I have decided that it’s a great base for snack mix cookies too! But if you’re in the market for a chocolate chip cookie recipe, this can be it!

SO! If you’re reading this, you’re likely familiar with “compost cookies” made famous by Christina Tosi, founder of Milk Bar, with variations of the cookie seen frequently on Lisa He’s Instagram (@borderlandsbakery) and recently, my own Instagram too! Another term for this cookie is a “kitchen sink cookie” and I will be calling it a “snack mix cookie” because it includes All. The. Things. Inspired by Sara Bogart’s (@sugarandspoonbakingco) snack mixes, it’s hard NOT to make these delicious cookies when you want something a little more flavorful than a chocolate chip cookie. But we are NOT discounting the chocolate chip cookie, that’s forever in my heart. OUR HEARTS! But for now my chocolate chips have accepted that they must welcome other snacks in the dough with them these days!
